BCHL Experience

Part of the on-going tradition with Saints Hockey Program, is to help our athletes pursue their hockey dreams ... past the Club and High School levels. It is our standard of excellence to help our players both on and off the ice. In doing such, our coaches are dedicated to helping our players by providing them with added opportunities to make their hockey dreams come true.

Three of the members of our U18-AAA team were provided with the opportunity to train and showcase their talents the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL (British Columbia Hockey League) for one week. LINK

This opportunity, provided three of our players with the chance to train with a team that is situated within one of the most prestigious leagues in North America. Each season the Centennials help players attain NCAA D-I and D-III Scholarship opportunities. This is a tremendous opportunity for our young players.

Players Oliver Polonichko, Sean Smer, and Shane West.

Hawks JV finishes season in 1st place/ HS Trip to Canada

Congratulations to our JV Hawks who finished 1st in their division!

Also 3 of our Hawks players were selected to for the Anaheim Ducks High School League All Star game; Jake Heimaster, Jack Brown, and Tim Mehrer.

While most of the club was playing in various tournaments over President's Day Weekend, a number of our high school players, their head coach, our hockey director,  and some brave parents traveled to Toronto Canada. While there they visited Everest & The Hill, York University, and the University of Toronto. They played in 3 different scrimmages, toured the Hockey Hall of Fame, and had time to play pond hockey! It was a trip that will not be forgotten.

Good Work Squirts

Saints Squirts Win It All in Vegas

The boys went 4-0 in pool play, defeating teams from CA, AZ, and NV to make it to the championship game. Then they won the championship with a 5-0 shut out! It was a real display of teamwork and sportsmanship over the weekend. Everyone on the team had either at least one goal or at least one assists.

Off ice the boys attended shows, walked the strip, zip lined, road the NY NY Roller Coaster, visited the Hoover Dam, played laser tag, ate a bunch of M&Ms, spent time together, and they even had a friendly lunch with the Las Vegas team they went to the Championship with.

Smile Mites, you worked hard!

Saints Mites take 2nd place in Irvine

Our Mighty Mites team played in Irvine over President's Weekend.

Competing against 7 other teams they emerged 5-0-1 in Pool Play. Then they defeated the Jr Gulls in an amazing 2-0 victory that happened in the last 3 minutes of the game, it was 0-0 with 3 min left!  However, they fell to Goldrush in the Championship game, only loosing 0-1. Talk about some great match ups! We are very proud of all their hard work.

Off ice the kids went to Great Wolf Lodge for an afternoon to celebrate a teammate's birthday, another day they had a pizza party, and then these crazy kids spent an afternoon swimming outside at the pool! Oh to be 6-9 years old again, what a life!

Arenas for Saints & Angels

A Special "Thank You" to our local ice arena facilities who have provided us with incredible facilities and assistance in making our programs great!
